Employment: Full-time (12-Month)
Reports To: Director of Buildings & Grounds or designee
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Hours: 8 ½ Hour Day including 30 minute lunch
6:00am - 3:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organizes the entire warehouse so that all textbooks, instructional materials, and other products are maintained in very systematic fashion.
  • Maintains an inventory of all books and materials in the warehouse. This inventory will always be current and available on the District Software Inventory Program.
  • Sorts all materials that are delivered on a daily basis and ships to the schools their ordered products.
  • Follows-up, on a daily basis, with all deliveries to schools to ensure that those deliveries have been received.
  • Maintains copies of all delivery invoices to the District Office and keep copies of invoices signed by school personnel responsible for receiving product deliveries to their school.
  • Delivers books and materials to school when necessary.
  • Reviews the operations/maintenance of the warehouse and the delivery of products to schools and offers suggestions regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall operation.
  • Communicates with District Administration regarding any issues pertaining to the maintenance of the warehouse, the delivery of products to the schools and other concerns/issues regarding the efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Assists in the maintenance of the District Office
  • Assist with District wide Snow Removal
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Capable of lifting equipment and large packages
  • Valid Illinois Drivers License
