The Maintenance Associate is responsible for routinely performing maintenance procedures. They also help troubleshoot and quickly repair any facility problems when they arise. Cleaning and supplying designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning).
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure that all maintenance repair service requests are scheduled and completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain and repair the following:
  • Lighting systems throughout the stores, clean fixtures, and replace bulbs and lamps.
  • Maintain and service a variety of test equipment and hand and power tools; keeps small inventory of frequently used supplies and hardware.
  • Monitor and coordinate control panels and thermostats of all systems to maintain standard working temperature.
  • Perform periodic quality checks on all equipment and systems to ensure they are up to standards.
  • Cleaning, inspecting, and repairing broken machines or defective equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Keep refrigerators and freezers organized and stocked with fresh products.
  • Clean and maintain inside and outside of the store and ensure that trash cans are properly emptied and cleaned.
  • Take on additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by store management.
