JOB SUMMARY
The Summer Maintenance Associate performs essential cleaning, repair, and upkeep tasks for facilities, grounds, or equipment during the summer season, ensuring compliance with with GMPs, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Assists in maintaining outdoor areas, operating outdoor machinery safely.
โ€ข Perform minor carpentry and painting repairs on buildings.
โ€ข Follow sanitary design principles when repairing or modifying food-contact and non-food-contact equipment.
โ€ข Ensure that maintenance activities do not compromise product integrity or contamination controls.
โ€ข Use hand tools, power tools,and diagnostic devices effectively and safely.
โ€ข Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and notifying supervisors of parts or tools needed.
โ€ข Work closely with production, sanitation, and quality assurance teams to ensure maintenance work supports overall operational goals.

REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
