Job description

Title: Maintenance Assistant 

Job Duties: The Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.

Schedule: 

  • Full-Time: AM (Tuesday - Saturday)

Qualifications:

  • A high school graduate/GED preferred.
  • At least one year in one of the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently.
