Job description

Job Summary
The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator is responsible for assisting the plants and purchasing of maintenance materials by monitoring, managing, and maintaining the overall VMI inventory level.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and track all facility assets.
  • Know our system inside and out so you can run any inventory and receive reports available and answer inventory questions that come up.
  • Handle most communication with specific vendor contacts and facilitate their needs.
  • Investigate any inventory discrepancies and communicate the issue with maintenance supervisor and vendors.
  • Handle vendor issues tactfully and respectfully
  • Maintain vendor price maintenance tables
  • Understand and uphold MaintainX reports and follow up with work orders.
  • Prepare various reports and correspondence as required
  • Share backup maintenance coordinator duties
  • Must participate in safety and "Good Catch" program.
  • Assists in assigned special projects with lead.
  • Performs other duties as required and directed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
  • Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
  • Working knowledge in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Preferred understanding of company policies, practices, and procedures
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish), including reading and writing.

Starting Base Pay: $20.00 - $22.00, dependent upon experience.
