Job Description

Job Title: Mainframe - Tivoli Workload scheduler
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Also may have option to work from home)
Duration: 1 year
Interview type: Phone and in-person.
Position Type: Contract.

Must haves:

- Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler in mainframe and distributed environments

- Experience with z/OS, RACF, JCL, and UNIX System Services as related to TWS

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Ability to provide on-call support
  • Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and administration of a TWS 8.6 - 9.3 (9.3 preferred) in a End-to-End mixed environment including support for Dynamic Workload Console (DWC).
  • Implement and support a highly available and scalable TWS domain manager on LINUX in a TWS End-to-End configuration supporting Fault Tolerant Agents (FTA) on Windows and Linux and z-Centric Agents across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Implement TWS job and management reporting within DWC
  • Provide support for TWS end-to-end and DWC operations including incident and problem management with responsibility for root cause analysis and resolution
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance and perform tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency and throughput
  • 10 years of experience in the administration of TWS environments including architecting, implementing and supporting TWS 8.5/8.6
  • Exposure to other products (CA11 restart) that are integrated with TWS is a plus
