Job Summary:
Cognizant is a leading company in Intelligent Process Automation solutions, and they are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect to lead the design and implementation of cognitive automation solutions. The role involves providing oversight on Microsoft Power Platform environments, establishing technical governance, and ensuring secure and compliant data handling.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to provide oversight as well as set up the Microsoft Power Platform environments and related technologies (SharePoint, CoPilot)
• Establish technical governance, define standards and frameworks to manage tenants, environments, users, COE Kits, and drive best practices
• Translate business needs into technical designs and architecture roadmaps
• Establish environment strategy (Dev, Test, Prod), ALM, and security controls
• Align platform usage with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements
• Design integrations with external systems (APIs, Azure services, enterprise apps)
• Define data architecture using Dataverse and other storage systems
• Ensure secure and compliant data handling
• Implement integration patterns (batch, real-time, event-driven)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Participate in POCs, innovation initiatives, and capability enhancement
• Establish communication monitoring and support methodologies for clients
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must have minimum 10 years of hands-on experience on at least one of the programming languages (e.g. .Net, Java, VB, C#/C, HTML/CSS, Python, Web Services, mainframe, web applications, SQL, data integration tools, technical automation tools)
• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Microsoft Power Platform architect and have successfully led implementations of Microsoft Power Platform programs
• Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop), Power BI, Dataverse
• Experience implementing solutions using Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management), Integration (REST/SOAP APIs), Data modeling and ETL processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment
• Willing to travel to client location as per engagement requirement
