Job description

In this role as Software Engineer, you will be partnering with Technology, Operations, Product and Production Management teams to deliver technical solutions to meet business objectives, troubleshoot defects and remediate production issues for the HV Payments Dup Check implementation on the Wires application. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, integration, implementation and maintenance of critical projects and enhancements to the USD Wires application.
Required Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
  • 10+ years' Mainframe Application / COBOL development experience
  • 7+ years' experience in CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ application development
  • Experience required in debug tools like Expeditor
  • Experience with File Aid, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, REXX is a plus
  • Experience in Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, WOLA is a plus
  • Experience in application development using financial messaging Using SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 pain, pacs, camt message formats is a plus
