We are currently seeking an Associate, Systems Management to join our team. In this role, you will manage the installation, maintenance, and support of Host Application deliverables in both Test and Production environments while ensuring smooth application operations. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring technical excellence, reliability, and support across our products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the SIS batch and on-line technology environments; provide technical support and expertise for these systems.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact, interfacing with other teams within SIS Service Delivery.

  • Participate in project planning to assess resources, workloads, and overall timelines.

  • Review business requirements and translate them into non-functional requirements.

  • Validate technical solutions and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Set up Test Environments based on documented functional and non-functional test requirements.

  • Develop and execute non-functional Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Cases; participate in project test planning and status meetings.

  • Schedule and oversee functional Business Test applications, providing online and batch support.

  • Communicate progress, issues, and conflicts to Project Managers, Team Leaders, and other stakeholders.

  • Configure, maintain, update, and install application and product software into test and production environments.

  • Provide ongoing support for daily application operations, release implementations, and problem resolutions in both test and production settings.

  • Conduct lessons learned and capture non-functional testing metrics to drive improvements.

  • Create and document installation instructions, ensuring peer review and accuracy.

Technical Skills Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in IBM Mainframe Concepts and Technologies:

    • ISPF, JCL, SDSF, SELECTOR, DFSORT, ICETOOL

    • IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS)

    • File Transfer Methods (FTP/SFTP/Connect direct)

    • DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ

    • Unix System Services

    • Host Scripting (rexx, shell scripting)

    • IBM File Manager

    • Charting Tools (Visio, Draw.io, Whiteboard)

    • Microsoft Open Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field-or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, supporting IBM Mainframe technologies in production environments.

  • Prior experience in application/product installation, configuration, and ongoing system support.

  • Proven ability to document complex processes, including test strategies, plans, and lessons learned.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Effective communication skills with a collaborative mindset to work across multiple teams.

  • Programming experience would be value-added
