Title: Mainframe Production Support
Location: Hybrid Either Chandler AZ or Des Moines Iowa

Duration: 12+ months C2H
MOI: Video

Candidate must have Mainframe application support experience.

Schedule: Flexible 8-hour shift within 6:00 AM 6:00 PM PST
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applications
  • Monitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptime
  • Analyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL)
  • Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job executions
  • Partner with Production Control to restart and recover failed jobs
  • Respond to business user requests and application team needs
  • Maintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Monitor and respond to application group mailboxes
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-up

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support (application support required)

Technologies/tools:

  • JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMS, Mainview
  • File tools: File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEV
  • Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence or similar)
