About the Role

You will serve as a senior analyst within production operations, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of critical business services. In this role, you will support and optimize mainframe production environments, drive operational excellence, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. You will partner with technology, compliance, finance, and client-facing teams to resolve complex operational challenges and maintain service continuity. Success is measured through system availability, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and consistent service delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

Monitor and support production workloads across mainframe environments to ensure service reliability and performance

Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency improvements

Manage and troubleshoot batch processing activities using JCL, CA7, and batch monitoring tools

Support software promotion, configuration management, and deployment activities using Endevor

Investigate and resolve complex production incidents, minimizing business impact and operational risk

Conduct operational reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements

Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and sustainable process improvements

Monitor service performance metrics, identify trends, and drive proactive issue prevention

Develop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and support standards

Provide technical guidance and operational expertise to team members and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting production operations, service delivery, or operational support in a regulated environment

Strong working knowledge of mainframe technologies and production support processes

Proficiency with JCL, CA7 scheduling, batch processing, and batch monitoring tools

Experience using Endevor or similar source code and configuration management platforms

Knowledge of mainframe job scheduling, workload management, and production control processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues

Experience implementing process improvements, automation solutions, or operational efficiencies

Knowledge of incident, problem, change, and risk management practices

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting financial services, banking, payments, or fintech environments

Knowledge of z/OS operating systems, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and mainframe utilities

Familiarity with scripting, workflow automation, or operational tooling enhancements

Experience with audit, compliance, and quality assurance processes

Certification in process improvement, operational excellence, IT service management, or related disciplines
