Job description

Main Line Technician

Location: Denver Metro Area.
Schedule: Full-time, must be willing to work weekends.
Compensation: Short training period followed by commission-based pay. Commission range is based on performance and can range from $65,000 to over $100,000 annually.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is looking for a Main Line Technician to join our growing team. We serve customers throughout the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service.

The right candidate will have previous experience working on main lines, a great attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to confidently diagnose main line issues and recommend the best solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Locate, diagnose, and clear blockages in main sewer lines using drain cleaning machines, augers, and hydro-jetting equipment.
  • Evaluate whether sewer line camera inspections would be in the customer's best interests and schedule service.
  • Install and repair cleanouts, connections, and related fittings to code.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Provide options and recommendations based on the customer’s needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment, and report any repair or replacement needs.
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and local plumbing codes.
  • Be available to work weekends as needed.
  • Travel to jobs throughout the Denver metro area and/or Northern Colorado.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a mainline or sewer/drain technician preferred.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose main line problems.
  • Proficiency with drain cleaning machines, hydro-jetters, sewer cameras, and line-locating equipment.
  • Experience with trenchless repair methods preferred.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
  • Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
