WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're seeking a Senior Scrum Master who brings strong emotional intelligence, organizational awareness, and the confidence to navigate ambiguity and influence outcomes without formal authority. You'll be a critical thinker with excellent facilitation and communication skills, able to work creatively and analytically to solve complex client challenges. You have experience delivering software and/or leading Agile transformation on a scale within large enterprises, including designing and facilitating SAFe training sessions and workshops.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Reporting to our Delivery Operations Manager, as a Full-Time Specialist on our team, you'll lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale data applications and solutions while establishing the Scrum discipline needed in an environment without a traditional PMO. You'll drive Agile and Lean practices that improve flow, quality, and continuous improvement, facilitating core ceremonies and keeping teams aligned on priorities and delivery. You'll also partner closely with clients to coach new and existing teams through the culture shift from traditional delivery to Agile ways of working. You'll do this within a fast-growing emerging technology space with strong opportunities for growth and impact.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years' experience with the Agile framework at Scrum Master role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Related Field
  • Active Scrum Master Certifications - CSM, PSM or equivalent.
  • Passion and drive to help team improve and deliver great products
  • Technical acumen to understand the product and project deliverables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical artifacts.
  • Experience with Jira.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitating Scrum Process with cross-functional scrum teams for medium/complex Projects.
  • Guide scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
  • Addressing systemic impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming roadblocks.
  • Coaching scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following SDLC, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
  • Communicating with different stakeholders, both business and technical, to ensure business-value driven delivery and continuous improvement of the team.
  • Partnering with Product Managers to discuss and resolve their concerns on governance policies and adherence to corporate standards.
  • Partnering with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include User stories from multiple projects.
  • Identifying skills and competencies of scrum team members and makes adjustments accordingly to promote development and highly effective teams.
  • Conducting all Scrum ceremonies - Stand-up meetings, Sprint Demo Sessions, Sprint Retrospective Session, Sprint Backlog Grooming Sessions and Sprint Planning sessions.
  • Reporting timely progress of Sprint via burn down/burn up charts and other reporting methods to Product Owners and stakeholders involved.
