Job description

Overview

Love working with numbers? Parkwest Bicyle Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking to hire a cage cashier. This cage cashier will be responsible for preparing and completing all Cage transactions and maintaining and securing financial assets of the casino. The Cage Cashier encourages and maintains the highest standards of guest service ensuring an experience the guests won't forget, which will keep them coming back for more! Responsibilities

  1. Sells and redeems chips for players and floor personnel as specified by policy/procedure guidelines.
  2. Responsible and accountable for Chip/Cash Fund as assigned at the window during shift.
  3. Keeps window variances to a minimum by processing transactions accurately.
  4. Performs chip exchange with other casinos in the Vault in the Main Cage. Cashes player bank withdrawals for players.
  5. Cashes checks and markers for players up to pre-approved credit limit and posts transactions to the computer.
  6. Processes credit card cash advances using the Quick Cash system.
  7. Receives and posts credit and marker/hold check payment from players.
  8. Other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one-year high volume, large dollar value cash handling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Banking or casino experience preferred.
  • Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work overtime, on call when necessary.
  • MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
