Job description

Position Summary

The Data & Graphic Analyst combines expertise in variable data processing, graphic design, and print production to support our growing print division. This position is responsible for transforming customer data into accurate, print-ready files, developing variable data templates, and ensuring quality throughout the production process.

The ideal candidate is highly detailed-oriented, organized, and experienced with variable data printing workflows, using various software.

Key Responsibilities Variable Data Specialist

· Develop and maintain variable data templates for statements, invoices, direct mail while ensuring accurate data mapping and field conversion.

· Build and produce VDP (Variable Data Processing) jobs using OL Connect / Planet Press, Indesign, or FusionPro software.

· Generate print-ready PDF files with accurate variable data, record counts, sequencing, and postal requirements.

· Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

· Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy.

Graphic Design & Print Production Support

· Design templates for various job types provided by customers (artwork) for print production.

· Prepare print-ready files according to production specifications.

· Create print templates, brochures, and promotional graphics.

· Ensure color accuracy, layout consistency, and print quality standards.

· Collaborate with customer service and production teams on various mailing projects.

Qualifications Required

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Data Analytics, Business, Marketing, or related field.

· 1-2 years of experience in variable data printing, digital print processing, or data-driven print workflows.

· Experience with OL Connect / Planet Press, Indesign, or FusionPro (or equivalent VDP tools)

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

· Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred

· Experience with BCC Bulk Mailer or other mail presort software in the printing and mailing industry.

· Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation.

· Direct mail production experience or the knowledge of the fulfillment process, such as folding, inserting, inkjet addressing, and mailing preparation.
