Job description

Duties

  1. Perform receptionist duties such as greet clients and visitors, answer all telephones and collect fees.
  2.  Be responsible for all Clinic client admission intake paperwork including setting client fees, income verification, checking insurance, collecting payments, etc.
  3. Schedule appointments.
  4. Maintain client uniform charting system, including e-record billing.
  5. Complete filing.
  6. Operate various agency business machines.
  7. Closed chart audits.
  8. Answering requests for information pertaining to Clinic site.
  9. Prepare and print daily schedule.
  10. Complete monthly OASAS reports and enter PAS forms.
  11. Photocopying.
  12. Attend meetings as approved.
  13. Receipt of funds including preparation of bank deposit.
  14. Handle all incoming/outgoing mail.
  15. Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in relation to Agency clients and financial information.
  16. Post all visits and payments in TIER.
  17. Order office supplies.
  18. Other duties as requested by the Clinic Manager.
  19. Check insurance eligibility.

Minimum Qualifications:  High school graduate, preferably with specialization in business. At least one year of working experience with the ability to type at least 55 wpm, with transcription, Word and Excel experience.
