This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, service-focused, and passionate about supporting clients with their insurance needs.
Responsibilities:
Client Service & Support
  • Assist walk-in clients Monday–Friday
  • Handle customer payment inquiries and confirmations
  • Respond to all change requests
  • Process ID card requests and other document requests (via fax, email, or mail)
  • Manage all lender requests to confirm coverage or update existing policies
  • Handle all referral inquiries
Policy Processing & Administration
  • Prepare new business applications and submissions for producers
  • Obtain required information for new business submissions
  • Process requests for insurance certificates
  • Process endorsements received via mail, email, and fax
  • Manage cancellations received via fax, email, or mail
  • Process renewals and complete renewal insurance reviews
  • Perform commercial audits for current clients
  • Monitor and complete lapse prevention reports
  • Review and process insurance company claim reports
  • Complete daily downloads from carriers
  • Maintain organized filing and documentation systems
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Commercial Producers or President
  • Contact customers regarding payment or underwriting notices
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of P/C commercial lines insurance experience
  • Active Michigan resident P/C License
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently
