Job Description

Are you an experienced Surgical Technician / Surgical Technologist in Muskegon area looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions - this is the position for you!

Daily Responsibilities:  

Will be performing quality checks and taking care of vendor trays

Help the surgical team scrub and put on gloves, masks, and surgical clothing  

Set up sterile supplies, equipment, instruments, and linen for the operation 

Prepare patient by washing, shaving, and disinfecting area of the body to undergo surgery 

Assist the surgical nurse as needed 

Assist in positioning patient for surgery 

Assist the anesthesiologist during administration of anesthetic 

Pass instruments, sponges, sutures, and needles to surgeons or their assistants 


Hours for this Position:

8 AM - 4:30 PM or 3 PM - 11:30 PM - must be flexible


Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a Surgical Technician

Experience with Orthopedic/Orthopedic and Spine instrumentation and procedure
