Introduction: Healthcare Ventures Group LLC is the owner of PRxP Pharmacies. PRxP Pharmacies are retail/community pharmacies that are accredited for specialty and mail order pharmacy services. The pharmacies also serve as a 340B contract pharmacy provider for 340B Covered Entities nationwide and focuses on patient care. Reports To: Accounting Manager

Primary Function:

The Senior Accountant will support the Company’s financial operations by assisting with month-end and year-end close activities including but not limited to, preparing journal entries and accruals, performing general ledger reconciliations, maintaining financial schedules, preparing financial reports, and completing inventory analysis and related reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
  • Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement schedules
  • Prepare other financial reports for distribution
  • Prepare inventory analysis and reconciliations
  • Assist with departmental projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation updates
  • Conduct financial analysis to support management reporting and business initiatives
  • Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements – Education, Experience, Skills, and Licensing:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting system (Oracle NetSuite)
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus
  • Experience with Healthcare Industry and reimbursements a plus

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 Annually

Location: Remote- Reside within 1 hour of Pittsburgh
