We are currently hiring for 1st Shift Production Laborers (Grinders) to join our team. The Production Laborers is responsible for assisting with general production needs in accordance with their designated manufacturing areas.
Responsibilities
Ensure work areas are clean and clear of debris and scrap material, placed in proper receptacles
Assists with general production labor needs such as: Grinding or deburring parts
Punching cut parts out of sheet metal
Placing and organizing punch parts onto pallets
Moving material using pallet jack and/or forklift to appropriate work areas
Operating the PEM inserter machine
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including material type and thickness
Skilled in identifying burrs and surface imperfections on metal parts
Proficient in using and reading calipers and other precision measuring tools
Strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
All other duties as assigned
Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
Job Requirements
Ability to work effectively with limited to no supervision
Experience in warehouse environment preferred
Ability to communicate verbally
Excellent time management skills
Willingness to adapt and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm
