Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Eatontown, NJ Type: Full-time, direct hire Compensation: $65,000.00 to $68,000.00 Work Model: Onsite Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on high-speed automated production equipment, including print, fold, seal, and mail insertion systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and sensor issues on automated machinery
  • Respond to equipment stoppages and breakdowns, assisting with safe and timely repairs to reduce downtime
  • Support setup, calibration, installation, and changeovers of precision production equipment
  • Work with high-speed personalization and document processing systems
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Support continuous operation of industrial mailing and postage equipment
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve uptime and equipment performance
  • Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures in a regulated production environment
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school vocational schooling/training is highly desired
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
  • Previous manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience preferred
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn electrical, pneumatic, and production systems
  • Ability to read basic technical documents or schematics is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Flexible and willing to work 2nd shift (Mon - Fri 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for 1 - 2 weeks per year, with advance notice of about 2 months. Travel may include attendance at corporate training programs, including locations in Europe.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial maintenance, commercial copy machines, printer technician
  • Forklift or mechanical repair experience is a plus
  • Experience with printing or production equipment is helpful but not required
