Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, P.C., is a large, fast-paced law firm seeking a motivated, organized, and reliable individual for a part-time Mail Clerk in our Springfield office.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAIL CLERK

  • As a Mail Clerk, you will spend most of your time handling electronic and paper mail in an office environment - sorting, organizing, and sending. You will independently and correctly scan, save, and email documents. You will efficiently and thoroughly manage digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence. You will excel at processing reports in both electronic and paper form, providing excellent customer service to Firm employees.
  • You will assist in mail pickup and delivery. You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • You will handle other general office duties that could include reception, front desk, etc. As the Firm's first impression in person or on the phone, you will provide excellent customer service to all colleagues and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A MAIL CLERK

  • Prior office or law firm experience a bonus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Exceptional attention to detail required
  • Must have strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary range is $15.50 to $23.00 an hour. The salary offered will take into account several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications/credentials, talent availability and specialization, as well as business needs. The range may be modified in the future.

This is a part-time position. The hours are noon to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. This position offers the following benefits*, for part-time employees, at no additional cost including:
