Mailroom Clerk

Qualifications
The Office Services Associate supports daily document, mail, and office operations by providing high-volume copy, scanning, mail processing, shipping, and receiving services. This role is responsible for operating office equipment, maintaining service quality, supporting customer requests, and ensuring efficient workflow in a fast-paced client environment. The position requires strong organizational skills, basic technical proficiency, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume copy, scanning, and mail processing equipment.
  • Perform copying, binding, finishing, and document scanning services.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and shipments.
  • Receive, sort, distribute, and deliver mail and completed jobs to designated locations.
  • Operate image handling software, Microsoft Office applications, email, handheld devices, and POS systems.
  • Maintain convenience copiers through routine inspections, clear paper jams, and coordinate service requests with technicians.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding job status and service requests.
  • Calculate job charges and maintain billing, meter, service, and inventory logs.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and distribute supplies as needed.
  • Perform filing, document archiving, and records management activities.
  • Operate bindery and finishing equipment, including shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, hole drillers, joggers, tape machines, stackers, electric staplers, postage meters, and scales.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations.
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked copier and work areas.
  • Travel between buildings as required to deliver completed work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical aptitude for operating printers, copiers, scanners, postage machines, and other office equipment.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push equipment or carts weighing up to 400 pounds on wheels.
  • Ability to interpret and apply work instructions while maintaining accuracy and productivity
