Job Description

Assists residents with activities of daily living, i.e., eating, bathing, dressing, etc.

Performs simple treatments as assigned, i.e. vital signs, specimens, etc.

Observes, reports, and charts on the activities of daily living and areas assigned on care plan.

Attends and contributes in resident care plan conferences as directed and necessary.

Answers call lights.

Follows care plan.

Responsible for general appearance of units as needed.

Performs emergency cleaning as assigned.

Distributes resident's mail on the units.

Cleans wheelchairs and other equipment as assigned.

Completes documentation/charting as needed or assigned.

May perform other varied duties/assignments per facility needs.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.

Current Wisconsin certificate as Nursing Assistant.

Functional understanding of medical terminology.

Understands and effectively carries out oral and written instructions.

Understands the concept of comprehensive nursing care.

Additional Information

We are currently seeking Casual C.N.A. 's for our Day, P.M. and Night shifts.   2 weekend days  per month.
