Work Description:

  • Schedule & execute service calls in customer facilities to install, test, and repair equipment
  • Educate customers on equipment operation, adjustments, preventative maintenance, safety regulations and provide general customer service
  • Maintain records of service calls, training, and expenses
  • Maintain accurate parts and tool inventory and related records
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and/or repairing industrial equipment
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and instructional drawings preferred – aptitude to learn this skill is required
  • Mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use hand tools required
  • Comprehension of machine tolerance required
  • Excellent communication skills required (verbal, interpersonal, and written)
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Travel up to 90% of time
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record for insurability by commercial carrier required
  • Willingness to outside of normal business hours and/or overtime when needed

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. over 2/3 of workday
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 2/3 of workday
  • Ability to sit up to 2/3 of workday (driving)
