Group Summary:

As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

Job Responsibilities:

Shared responsibility for the achievement of production targets (OEE)
Performs preventive maintenance activities as well as optimization of the existing production plant
Procurement and management of spare parts
Ensuring compliance with all legal standards
Analysis of weak points and/or risks and initiation and implementation of appropriate remedial measures
Teaching and programming of robots
Monitoring and participation in the assembly and installation of new equipment and conversions of existing facilities
Responsibility for ensuring occupational safety and health protection in your area of activity
Independent implementation of projects of various sizes with regard to conversion and repair work
Technical competence in the area of automation technology and plant engineering
Participation in FMEAs
Trains other employees as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in a technical field or 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with welding steel a plus.
Experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.
Experience in programming robots (KUKA preferred)
Experienced in pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Programming knowledge (Siemens Simatic TIA Portal V15 and upgraded versions)
Relevant professional experience in the manufacturing industry preferably automotive
SAP knowledge
