  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of a childcare classroom
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the classroom for the majority of the workday

  • Build strong relationships with families through daily communication, classroom updates, and the ClassDojo platform
  • Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports infant development and early learning
  • Encourage exploration, discovery, and participation through age-appropriate sensory, social, and motor skill activities
  • Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and care schedules to meet each infant's unique needs
  • Observe, document, and assess children's developmental progress in accordance with program expectations
  • Support children's daily routines, including feeding, bottle preparation, diapering, toileting, naptime, outdoor play, and transitions throughout the day
  • Maintain active supervision and ensure children's safety at all times while adhering to Massachusetts EEC regulations and center policies
  • Keep the classroom clean, organized, and fully prepared for each day through routine sanitization, toy cleaning, classroom maintenance, and opening/closing responsibilities
