Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Administrator to manage and support our North America eCommerce platforms (US & Canada), primarily on Magento. This role ensures website performance, security, and stability, troubleshoots technical issues, and implements updates and improvements. The Web Administrator will also support eCommerce enhancement projects by gathering requirements, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking implementation. Strong bilingual skills (English & Mandarin) are required to collaborate with teams in Taiwan HQ and the US.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
       

  • Requirements Management: Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Cross-Regional Communication: Serve as a key liaison between Taiwan HQ and US teams, communicating technical issues and requirements in Mandarin and English while coordinating across time zones to ensure smooth project execution.
  • SI Partner Management & Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with SI partners and internal teams, including development, design, and marketing, to ensure effective communication, aligned operations, and successful project delivery that meets business needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and procedures, oversee system testing activities (unit, integration, and acceptance testing), and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Issue Troubleshooting & Support: Perform Level 1 issue analysis and troubleshooting, including data logic and cache-related issues, and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure timely issue resolution and system stability.
  • System Implementation, User Support & Training: Support system rollouts and post-implementation activities by providing user training, operational guidance, process documentation, and ongoing technical support to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Change & Continuous Improvement: Manage system changes and enhancements by assessing impact, enforcing change control processes, and identifying opportunities to improve system performance and user experience.

Knowledge and Skills: 
       

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (required) for communication with Taiwan HQ and US teams.
  • Ability to coordinate with technical teams and external vendors for infrastructure, deployment, and website operations.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento) and related management tools.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project/ticket management tools to track work and project progress.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of website security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.

Years of Education  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field  

Work Experience

   

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Web Administration, ecommerce operations, or similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:
    

  • Experience supporting global or cross-regional teams is a plus.    

Working Conditions:
      

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.

$78,000-$83,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate related to the role.
