Business Development Intern Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and eager-to-learn Business Development Intern to support our growing sales efforts, with a particular focus on expanding the sale of reusable aluminum cups in emerging markets. This internship provides hands-on experience in business development, supply chain operations, logistics, social media management, and international trade while working alongside experienced Business Development Managers. The intern will play an active role in supporting sales initiatives, developing marketing campaigns, creating digital content, conducting market research, and assisting with customer outreach to help drive business growth and expand brand awareness.
Business Development Intern Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and managing social media content to promote our new product across multiple digital platforms.
  • Support marketing initiatives by creating engaging campaigns, tracking performance metrics, and helping increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative strategies, conduct market research, and contribute to the successful launch and growth of our new product.
  • Provide administrative support to Business Development Managers and Marketing team members.
  • Create engaging written and visual content that promotes the company's products, services, and brand while maintaining a consistent voice and messaging
  • Assist with lead generation activities by identifying potential customers, maintaining prospect lists, and supporting customer outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with trade shows, customer events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and promotional activities.
  • Support smooth inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Assist with sourcing research and evaluation of potential new suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate customer and marketing data within CRM and ERP systems, including NetSuite, and assist with reporting and data analysis.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Marketing teams as needed.
  • Assist with additional projects and initiatives that contribute to the company's sales growth and strategic objectives.

Business Development Intern Qualification Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in business development, sales, marketing, and social media.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship, campus leadership, project work, or part-time experience in business, operations, logistics, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis.
