Summary of Functions
Mighty's Peachtree Corners, GA based company operation, Mighty Auto Parts of Atlanta, is seeking a motivated and results driven Sales & Account Representative to grow our automotive parts, chemicals, lubricants, and accessories business by developing new customer relationships while strengthening and expanding existing accounts. This role combines business development, account management, territory growth, and customer support to help automotive service providers improve profitability, efficiency, and inventory management in the Atlanta metropolitan area
General Responsibilities/Job Summary
The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who enjoys prospecting for new automotive repair, quick lube, car dealership, and fleet business, developing strategic sales plans, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and sales visits.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase sales and market share.

Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
  • Support customer retention and growth through regular account reviews and business planning.
  • Monthly collection of Accounts Receivable

Sales & Product Promotion
  • Present and promote Mighty Auto Parts products, programs, and services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product usage and introduce new offerings.
  • Support customer events, promotions, and training initiatives.

Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates.
  • Manage accounts receivable.

Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and industry events.
  • Support and share best practices with fellow sales team members.

Experience Requirements
  • 3-5 years of outside sales, business development, account management, or territory management experience.
  • Automotive aftermarket, automotive service, fleet, dealership, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Educational Requirements
High school graduate and equivalent work experience.
Working Conditions
Daily office hours are normally between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend responsibilities.
