Requirement:
Position: ServiceNow Engineer
Job Location: Hillsboro, OR
Duration: 5+ Months Contract plus Extensions
Description:
The successful candidate for this project will be able to both act in a business analysis capacity as well as a developer role for this unique client. They will be able to help facilitate business meetings in conjunction with the implementation team to drive business requirements in the areas of Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management. This position will be involved in requirement gathering, analysis, testing, etc., as well as on boarding business groups to the new tool. The role will also entail several elements of project management, including defining and adhering to a schedule with deliverables, the ability to work independently, and potentially supervise / oversee the work of others.
This role will also will be able to configure and develop core and custom solutions in an expanding ServiceNow environment. You will work with the ServiceNow functional and admin teams in the design, development and implementation of ServiceNow applications, provide architectural input and maintain stability of the overall platform by ensuring the appropriate design and development standards are used at all times.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:
Experience with the ServiceNow software suite is required
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and practical "get it done" work style with deep subject matter expertise in ServiceNow, current or n-1 version preferred.
Previous experience with Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management operational / ITIL processes
Strong understanding of how to analyze, design, and document business and operational processes.
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
The ability to break down potentially complex issues or requirements into manageable steps.
Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels.
The ability to work in an agile-scrum environment where documentation, attention to detail, and team collaboration is required.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment.
Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS Need SOAP
Solution and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
Develop and deliver customized portal web pages in ServiceNow using Bootstrap and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks
Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow
Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
Proven experience with 3rd party software integrations, plugin and connector configuration with ServiceNow
Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow
Configure ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration.
Contribute to design, development, and overall ServiceNow best practices.
