Job description

Delivery Driver | Public Coast Brewing & Farm
Inspired by the Oregon coast, free and open to everyone, Public Coast Brewing honors that same welcoming spirit by making craft beer that's both delicious and approachable. Position Summary
Public Coast Brewing Co. is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to deliver kegs and packaged products to on-premises and off-premises accounts throughout the Portland metro area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas counties).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery and Route Operations
  • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle throughout the Portland metro area.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload kegs, cases, and merchandise materials.
  • Pick up empty kegs, damaged products, returns, and other reusable materials.
  • Pick up and deliver seasonal produce and other farm products as assigned, following proper handling, temperature-control, and food-safety procedures.
  • Coordinate farm deliveries with brewery products when practical and maintain accurate records of quantities delivered, received, returned, or damaged.

Customer Service and Brewery Representation
  • Represent Public Coast Brewing Co. professionally while visiting customer accounts and working in the market.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with account owners, buyers, receiving teams, bartenders, servers, and other customer representatives.
  • Communicate customer feedback, account concerns, product issues, and potential opportunities to the sales and brewery teams.
  • Protect the reputation of Public Coast through safe driving, professional communication, and responsible conduct.

Merchandising and Account Support
  • Stock and organize packaged products in customer-designated areas when required. Rotate products to support freshness and proper inventory movement.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and attractive Public Coast product displays.
  • Check shelves, coolers, displays, tap handles, menu placements, and other areas where Public Coast products are represented.
  • Confirm that Public Coast products and branding are presented accurately and professionally.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable by insurance
  • Previous delivery, route-driving, beverage-distribution, warehouse, merchandising, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete invoices and delivery records accurately.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Knowledge of beer, beverage distribution, restaurants, grocery stores, or retail accounts is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry cases and other products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely maneuver full kegs weighing up to approximately 165 pounds using a hand truck, keg dolly, liftgate, ramp, or other appropriate equipment.
  • Ability to push and pull loaded delivery equipment over ramps, curbs, sidewalks, uneven surfaces, and through customer receiving areas.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb, and work in tight storage, cooler, and receiving areas.
  • Company delivery vehicle provided for scheduled routes.
