Job description

Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Mid-level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) who will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). This is an on site opportunity. As an Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's informationsystems. You will install, configure, and maintain our local area network(LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physicaland virtual servers. You will perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources andsystems. Additionally, you will review system and application logs andverify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
***Must Be A US Citizen***
CURRENT ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Assist SSO with security processes and procedures to include perimteer security, access control and intrusion detection systems
  • Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR)
  • Conduct destruction of classified material and provide accountability of all documents and data transfers.
  • The following courses must be completed during the period of performance:
    • ICD 704 Personnel Security Course
    • ICD 705 Physical Security Course
    • Special Security Officer Course (SSOC)
    • SCI Overview Seminar
    • Establishing & Operating an Insider Threat Program

Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an administrative role in a security environment
  • Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principals
  • Possess a keen knowledge of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances
  • Possess proficiency with the Federal Government security databases
  • Possess experience with processing visit certifications
  • Possess experience with maintaining security holding
  • Must have solid knowledge in the use of MS Office software
  • Experience with PAR in the JADE system
  • Experience in Special Access Program (SAP) environments

Education
  • High School diploma or GED

Other Requirements
  • CURRENT ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Possess eligibility for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED)
  • Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future
  • Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years.
  • Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible
