Job Title: Varsity Boys Tennis Coach - Madison Consolidated High School

Location: Madison, Indiana

Madison Consolidated High School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Varsity Boys Tennis Head Coach. Madison High School is committed to providing an excellent experience in both academics and athletics for our student athletes. We have recently upgraded many of our Athletic Facilities, including a newly sodded grass playing surface, turf field, tennis courts, and weight room.

Position Overview:

The Varsity Boys Tennis Head Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive tennis program that instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skill development of all student-athletes.
  2. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, community involvement, and sportsmanship.
  3. Collaborate with the athletic department, school administration, assistant coach(s) and parents to create a supportive and engaging environment for the tennis program.
  4. Coordinate and execute offseason training programs to enhance players' physical conditioning, safety, and overall performance.
  5. Demonstrate a commitment to the academic success and character development of student-athletes.
  6. Promoting student-athletes, growing the program, and building the program for the future.
  7. Help manage the tennis program at all levels, youth, middle and high school.

Qualifications:

  1. Teaching certification preferred
  2. Coaching experience at the high school level or beyond
  3. Strong organizational and communication skills
  4. Knowledge of tennis strategies, techniques, and safety protocols
  5. Ability to positively influence and mentor all student-athletes
