About the Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our properties remain a place our residents are proud to call home. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical challenges while ensuring maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for their field, and loves working as part of a team. Your work will have a direct impact on the daily lives of our residents, helping us deliver the high standards of service Madison Communities is known for.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Plan and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe shop areas, with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents.
  • Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
  • EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (required).
  • Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a resident-focused mindset.
