Job description

About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.

We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.

Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.

To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Facilities team, you will play a critical role in developing the core systems and applications that power Veho’s Ground Operations. You will build scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions that drive operational efficiency across our growing network of facilities.

You will contribute to the architecture and development of key initiatives including:

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Facility Command Center (FCC)

  • Facilities Mobile App (FMA) with Directed Workflows

Your work will directly impact Ground Operations Associates, Supervisors, and Operations Managers who rely on these systems every day to move packages efficiently and accurately. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Data teams to deliver reliable tools that scale with Veho’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications, APIs, and features for our operations user base

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for complex, distributed systems

  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and well‑tested code in high‑traffic production environments

  • Participate in and lead thoughtful peer code reviews to raise engineering standards

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to clarify requirements and deliver impactful solutions

  • Partner with Operations stakeholders to deeply understand warehouse workflows and translate them into elegant technical solutions

  • Analyze system performance, reliability, and scalability; proactively identify and mitigate risks

  • Improve system observability, monitoring, and operational excellence

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, and velocity

What You Bring:

  • 5–7+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high‑traffic production environments

  • Strong full-stack experience (ideally with Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React)

  • Experience designing and consuming APIs and working within distributed systems

  • Experience working in AWS or similar cloud environments

  • Experience in the Supply Chain or logistics domain preferred, with a strong preference for experience building software for warehouse or operations users

  • Willingness to learn and contribute to mobile surfaces as needed

  • Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and systems thinking skills

  • A self‑starter mindset with the ability to move quickly and ship iteratively

  • Enthusiasm for collaborating closely with Product and Operations teams to solve complex, real‑world operational challenges

  • Tech Stack: AWS, Typescript, Node.js

Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
