Job Overview

The ICQA Lead is responsible for performing operational ARO (Advanced Receiving Office) job duties and achieving daily department goals set by the ICQA Manager. They will adjust staffing as needed and provide feedback to colleagues on operational processes to ensure quality compliance. Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. What You Will Do

  • Conduct daily meetings to discuss the business, priorities, and transition to / from next shift. 
  • Provides process and functional direction to colleagues in the ARO Office, contributing to the overall success of receipt of merchandise within established levels of service, accuracy, and productivity standards. 
  • Enlist colleagues to offer suggestions for process/culture improvement and champion their cause. 
  • Ensures KPIs related to merchandise movement, service levels, accuracy and productivity standards are achieved. Ensures colleagues are working toward continuous improvement goals and objectives. 
  • Works closely with the Core Trainer and ICQA Manager to ensure colleagues are trained/cross-trained and certified in all ARO functions. Recognizes training deficiencies and works with manager to address issues.
  • In partnership with Core Trainer, participate in new hire on-boarding process, including facility tours and orientation. 
  • Maintains a clean and organized workplace and work to ensure the personal safety of all colleagues. 
  • Practices open and continuous communication; values keeping others well informed; presents written and verbal ideas and feedback in easily understood ways. 
  • Provides guidance to daily operations activities to ensure a high degree of coordination and cooperation between different areas. 
  • Provides hands-on direction to colleagues for the operation of the fulfillment center. 
  • Recognizes and celebrates individual and team performance with positive reinforcement. 
  • Responsible for maintaining the hourly process board to drive performance within the process path. Adjust staffing to close performance gaps exposed through process board updates.
  • Responsible for communicating the conversations with the Operations Manager. 
  • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.

Training and Development: Capacity to conduct operational training sessions, cross-train colleagues, and support the ongoing development of the overall team. 

Organization and Time Management: Skill in coordinating daily operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and prioritizing tasks to meet productivity standards.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using computers and handheld technology to access instructional documents, track productivity, and communicate with team members.

Self-Motivation: Resourceful self-starter who can work independently and take initiative to address challenges as they arise.

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. 
  • Requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around the facility or department, lifting at least 50 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. 
  • May involve reaching above eye level. 
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. 

Supply Chain Only and Colleagues Working in a Supply Chain Facility except in locations governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement:

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.
