Whatย Youโ€™llย Doย 

  • Operateย 3,4,ย and 5axis CNC milling and/or turning machinesย ย 
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously, as most equipment is part of manufacturing cells or machining centersย ย 
  • Machine hard metals such asย Inconel, titanium, and stainless steelย ย 
  • Load parts and fixtures using hoists and safely position workpieces in machinesย ย 
  • Makeย programrequiredย offsets and adjustments using Fanuc controlsย ย 
  • Read and interpret CNC programsย atย the machineย ย 
  • Set up tools using tool sheets and ensure proper configurationย ย 
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specificationsย 

ย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Bringย 

  • High school diploma or GEDย ย 
  • Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipmentย ย 
  • Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheetsย ย 
  • Strong communicationย andย problemsolvingย skills with the ability to work collaborativelyย ย 
  • Proficiencyย in mathematics and calculator useย ย 
  • Experience making offsets at the machineย ย 
  • Ability to read and understand CNC programsย ย 
  • Experience setting up and using machining tools and fixturesย ย 
  • Proficiencyย with precision measuring equipment, including gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometersย ย 
  • Familiarity withย rightangleย head operationsย ย 
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)ย ย 
  • Ability to work within tight tolerances (thousandths of an inch)ย ย

Preferred Skills & Experienceย 

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace orย highprecisionย manufacturingย ย 
  • 3+ years of experience operating CNCย multiaxisย milling machinesย
