  • Read, write, and troubleshoot machine G-code (Haas programming)
  • Develop or modify tools and fixtures for unique or non-standard operations
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, height gauges)
  • Follow all safety requirements and shop best practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations
What You Bring
Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with standard inspection and measurement tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
  • Hands on experience with equipment such as Haas VF Vertical Mills, Haas EC Horizontal Mills, Datron machines, or similar CNC platforms
  • Solid understanding of machine tools and fixturing
Working Environment
This position is based in a fabrication shop environment and includes:
  • Standing and walking on concrete floors for portions of the shift
  • Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Working near rotating spindles and machining equipment
  • Required use of safety glasses, steel toe boots, and hearing protection as needed
  • Occasional forklift operation
Why Elma?
At Elma Electronic Inc., we value skilled trades professionals and the expertise they bring to our manufacturing operations. We offer:
  • A stable, team driven manufacturing environment
  • Modern CNC machining equipment
  • Opportunities to apply your craftsmanship to meaningful, precision engineered work
