Job description

1st & 2nd Shift - Machine Operator

This is anย Entry Levelย Machine Operator / Production Associate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience working in aย fast paced production environment.ย 

Shift/Hours:ย Monday - Thursday, 1st & 2nd Shift available
Pay Rate:ย $17/hr-$20/hrย DOE
Location:ย Fort Myers, FL

Knowledge ofย Production and Processing:

  • Responsible for operating theย production machinery according to established production needs/requirements while inspecting finishedย products for quality.ย 
  • Responsible for set-up, loading, starting, adjusting process variables, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and properly shutting down process equipment in accordance with published production schedules and product specifications.ย 
  • Responsible for following prescribed methods for machine operation insuring the highest level of machine efficiency and product yield.
  • Responsible for performing minor maintenance functions on the production equipment, or notifying maintenance, so as to ensure that the process machinery can meet production levels.
  • Responsible for performing duties in a safe/responsible manner and in accordance with company policy, inclusive of maintaining general work area cleanliness and orderliness.ย 
  • Responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor, production manager, and/or the plant manager.

Requirements:

  • Must follow company policies and practices including, but not limited to, the companyโ€™s attendance policy.
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly
  • Must have machine operation experienceย 
  • Experience working in a factory environment is preferred.
  • Prior Manufacturing Experience is a plus
  • Basic Math Skills and Measuringย
