ABOUT THE JOB
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manufacture parts and components for hand-held surgical instruments.
  • Programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically Citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
  • Set-up and operate manual and less sophisticated CNC metal machining equipment.
  • Use of measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
  • Physical Requirements Lifting up to 20 lbs., seeing, standing, walking, sitting
  • Environmental Factors Machine shop environment Grease, cutting fluids Safety Glasses Education Required :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred : Machine shop certificate preferred

  • Experience with manual machining of metal.
