Job description

  • You will act as the deputy to the Project Manager and provide back-up for the Project Manager as required
  • Further, you will coordinate internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces in close coordination with the discipline team leaders
  • Ensures technical requirements defined in the scope of work are properly incorporated in the engineering deliverables
  • Manages and facilitates communication across the engineering functions to ensure that the project objectives are met, and drives issues to successful conclusion
  • Coordinates and leads Design Reviews with assistance from discipline team leads
  • You will compile technical documents and information in support of the Job Change Notice process
  • Coordinates technical claims and issues
  • Provides liaison services between engineering and construction including review of scope documents.Attends bid conferences or bid walks for the major subcontracts on the assigned projects.Supports bid review and scope compliance analysis of the subcontractor proposals.
  • You will participates in project validation meeting(s) at proposal handover from Linde Engineering, when appropriate and to supports Construction and Fabrication by providing resolutions of RFI's
  • In addition you will review and provide input on P&IDs and maintain equipment List and Quantity Tracking Matrix (QTM)
  • Coordinates the assembly of all Construction Bid Package documents, in collaboration with construction engineering, for project construction subcontracts, this will include initial preparation to final (conformed) contract package
  • Performs Shop checkouts before shipment
  • You will assist the Commissioning Manager or Project Manager with field commissioning and start-up
