In this position, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the machine shop by maintaining a steady flow of materials, tools, and supplies to the workstations. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and supporting the production team to meet their targets.

Responsibilities:

Material Handling:Transport raw materials, components, and finished products between storage areas and workstations.

Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools and replenish as needed to prevent shortages.

Tool Preparation:Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition for the production team.

Workstation Organization:Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing waste and unnecessary items from workstations.

Communication:Coordinate with production supervisors and team members to understand their needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
