Job description

The Machine Shop Supervisor leads a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 employees in a dynamic machining environment encompassing both conventional and CNC machinery. This role focuses on overseeing production schedules, ensuring optimal machining operations, and maintaining equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards. A key aspect of the position is fostering team development and implementing continuous process improvements within a lean manufacturing framework.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a machining team of 6 to 15 employees
  • Oversee production scheduling using manual and lean manufacturing methods
  • Supervise conventional and CNC machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency
