Roles and Responsibilities
  • Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources.
  • Training of new employees and shop members as needed to better the team knowledge and abilities.
  • Solve simple job-related problems and bring solutions to the shop superintendent or Fabrication shop manager.
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools, large machines, and specialty equipment.
  • Support the Superintendent and Project Manager to complete the project in a timely manner.
  • Provide the best quality and productive work without constant reminder.
  • Review and inspect finished assemblies to ensure parts and pieces are accurate and meet the fabrication requirements.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Required Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, work experience.
  • Must be able to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
  • 5 years experience operating a forklift and handling more than just pallets.
  • Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable.
  • Random drug testing is required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
  • Material Handling:? lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
