The Opportunity:

Elemental LED is a leading U.S. based engineering and technology company that creates, develops, manufactures, markets and sells innovative, configured and integrated LED lighting solutions. The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) has awarded Elemental LED as the "Company of the Year - Large" at the 7th Annual EDAWN Existing Industry Awards event, and "Employees First - Large" at the 10th Annual EDAWN Existing Industry Awards event.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

Interested in setting up a new Machine Shop and a paint booth?  Are you a natural leader who thrives on the shop floor and loves working with your hands?  If yes, Elemental LED is looking for you!  We need  a highly skilled, hands-on Machine Shop Supervisor to guide our production team and help build our high-performance custom lighting fixtures. Located in Reno, this position requires  travel to our San Dimas location once a month for 2-3 days to provide for approximately 6 months to offer hands-on operational support, standardize shop floor processes, and even assist with paint booth production.

This isn't a desk job—this is a true working supervisor role where you lead from the front. You will be rolling up your sleeves to commission a new fabrication facility that includes laser cutter, turret punch, press brake, CNC, welding, and painting facility. Once up and running, you will directly operate the equipment right alongside your team to hit our production goals. You will also be our go-to expert for sheet metal fabrication, guiding the designs to minimize scrap and maximize throughput.

Beyond the daily hands-on fabrication, you will hire, train, mentor, and work closely with a great team of skilled machinists, fabricators, and painters. Championing a safe work environment is paramount to us, so you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring rigid safety standards, machine guarding protocols, and PPE compliance are always met across the floor.

If you are a metal fabrication expert who is passionate about craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and leading by example, we want you on our team!"
