Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location:  La Verne, CA 91750

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in La Verne, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong inspection experience within a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts and materials
  • Verify product conformance using blueprints, specifications, and quality standards
  • Complete and maintain inspection reports, process tags, and non-conformance documentation
  • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production staff to ensure product accuracy and process compliance
  • Inspect production procedures and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Identify quality issues and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilize precision measuring and inspection instruments accurately
  • Maintain organized quality records and documentation
  • Support ISO and AS quality compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for precision machined parts
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, specifications, symbols, and inspection procedures 

Experience using inspection equipment including:

  • Micrometers
  • Vernier calipers
  • Dial indicators
  • Height gauges
  • Thread gauges
  • Bore gauges
  • ID/OD micrometers
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and reporting abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with ISO and AS standards preferred 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with machinists and engineering teams
  • Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement processes
