CV-Tek is seeking a hands-on Machine Shop Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift machining operation.


This is not a desk job.


We are looking for an experienced CNC professional who enjoys leading people while remaining actively involved on the shop floor. Approximately 80% of the role is hands-on machining and setup work, with 20% focused on supervising and developing a small team.

Schedule

  • 2nd Shift
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Initial training on 1st Shift for 2-4 weeks
  • Overtime available
  • No weekend work currently

What You'll Do

  • Lead a small 2nd Shift team consisting of machinists and welders
  • Set up CNC mills and CNC lathes
  • Support production priorities and coordinate with 1st Shift
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues
  • Train and develop employees
  • Maintain quality and safety standards
  • Hold employees accountable to performance, attendance, and safety expectations
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts
  • Work alongside the team to support daily production goals
