Job description

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / MACHINE SHOP ASSISTANT

Acme Truck Brake & Supply is a truck parts store/warehouse with 2 locations in Illinois.  We are a fast moving, fast growing company supplying truck parts and machine shop service to Chicago and its suburbs.  We are looking for a full time person in the warehouse area and to help out in our Machine Shop in our Elk Grove Village location. 


The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements.  


Duties -

·        Unload trucks

·        Receive stock and match packing list

·        Put away stock correctly

·        Driving company vehicles

·        Assist in Machine Shop Area – Cut Drums & Rotors, Resurface Flywheels and Press Work.

Requirements -

·        Heavy Lifting

·        Must be dependable and possess a good attendance record

·        High School diploma or equivalent required

·        Must be able to communicate well in English

·        Valid driver’s license

·        Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Starting Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (with 30 min unpaid lunch)

Acme's benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, accident insurances, a retirement plan, paid time off  - holidays, vacation, personal time. 

Starting Pay is $20 per hour.
