The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
What You'll Do:
  • Program, setup and operate Haas VM-3.
  • Advanced proficiency in Mastercam programming for milling, create and modify Mastercam programs, including complex 2D and 3D toolpaths, using CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in team environment and to work independently or with little supervision.
  • Review and interpret electronic build documents for machining requirements including thorough knowledge of GD&T engineering. Solid models (CAD) provided for all builds.
  • Design and fabricate basic to complex holding fixtures for standard and irregular configurations.
  • Use basic inspection equipment to check parts per ANSI Y14.5. We are an AS9100 accredited manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain required electronic build records and process logs, records, and reports in accordance with company policies/procedures and government regulations.
  • May be utilized for working peer support relating to the machining and fabrication of complex hardware.
  • Will assist in manufacturing process planning and estimating.
  • Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Schedule and Benefits:
    • Work Thursday through Saturday onsite.
    • 11% shift premium for three 12-hour shifts schedule.
    • Second shift differential pay in addition for start times at 9:00 A.M. or later.
    • Part-time position with comprehensive benefits package.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • 3-Axis Machinist: We're looking for an experienced machinist with a background in aerospace, tooling, and high-precision prototype manufacturing:
  • Advanced proficiency in Mastercam programming for milling, create and modify Mastercam programs, including complex 2D and 3D toolpaths, using CAD models and engineering drawings
  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) inspection interpretation skills, conduct self-inspection and first article verification to ensure part compliance before release to our Quality Assurance team
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and quality personnel to refine processes and resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Deep understanding of feeds, speeds, cutter geometry, and material behavior
  • Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds
  • An appreciation for demanding critically tolerance parts to fully support our ever-increasing customer base.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75998 - $121597
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
