Duties:
  • Requires the ability to install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain in operating condition various machines and equipment throughout the plant.
  • Also must be able to diagnose trouble, determine methods of repair, make installations, plan layout, move and complete work on machines or equipment with minimum of supervision.
  • Must have knowledge of construction and machine design prints, shop mathematics and a minimum of 5 years experience in this type of work. Have necessary standard tools.
  • Work close tolerances as required and make simple parts if needed. Will do general maintenance functions as required at the direction of the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent (required)
  • 2-5 years Machine Repair experience (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant standing/walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and reaching
  • Ascending/descending ladder, scaffolding, or stairs
  • Grasping, manipulating, or assembling objects with hands/fingers
  • Clear vision (near/far/peripheral) and hearing for safety
  • Must have necessary standard tools
